ABOUT THE PODCAST:
The Enlivened Arts are reflections and curiosities cultivated over the past 20+ years that asks how alcohol carries the essence from the sum of its parts. Having a spirit that contains wisdom and ecstatic natures. Through science we know that our bodies and the earth’s body is composed primarily of water and water is the sacred matrix of all life. Rustum Roy said that “structured water is the world’s most malleable computer”, referring to how crystalline phase water can store and transmit information. So herein begins the weave, if water holds memory and our bodies, the earth and all beverages too are composed of mostly water then it’s not so far-fetched to believe that one can connect with that stored information. So here also comes the layer of myth and imagination woven with the science that quantum states of water and its many ways of existing defies the laws of physics.
Through the language of the poetic muse we can help make sense of time, of our surroundings and of the unseen forms that are felt. It creates shapes for the layers of the nonlinear. As it does for the spaces we inhabit, unexpected circumstances, cycles, misplaced thought patterns and affinities. Much of Rachelle's writing is channeled through beverage and nature, it’s a personal cosmology weave of sorts that links itself to the greater cosmic wyrd. Our own stories are fundamental to being in human relationships, this is where we begin. May this be a supportive “key” to opening closed doors of the past.

This podcast explores beverages as an integral part of culture that threads us together during our time on earth. While discussing its community, ritual, and creative purposes through the ages; hold loosely to the knowledge that however you may feel or (not) engage with alcohol now, it's very likely that it had profound impacts on your ancestors ranging from messy, magical, fun, deadly, transformative, loosening, unsustainable or simply helped them survive when alcohol was safer than water…This offers a virtual landing place to explore the multiverse of connections with alcohol (+ other tasty things...) in new ways that are also old and a direct way of engaging with our sensing bodies, that move us and in turn, what moves the world. Through these rekindling's, may they bring a sense of responsibility and levity to the importance of remaining humbly in reciprocitic awe of the natural world and all it gives to us. Rachelle invites you to pour something delicious and enjoy.

Naming is an act of becoming, and we are always in a state of being and becoming as we live out our life as microcosms of the macrocosm. In the state of being, this could be as simple as setting an intention and following it as we follow the breath.

Each session will be different, however there is an architecture based on Rachelle’s training and lived experience. Her lens of informational exchange is held within body wisdom through evolving ritual practices that span holistic healing arts, consumption arts, sensory sciences, dream and energy work, folk traditions, influences of Jungian psychology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hindu and Norse philosophies, non-ordinary states of seership, Ancestorial Reverence, Astrology, Poisonous Substances | Alcohol, Elemental | Plant | Stone | Animal Allies, Mythic and Symbolic practices changing with the times, names, landscapes and kin that keep them alive.

One can not always be the other, each aspect stands on it’s own for it’s own sake, mystery being one of these that can only be experience to be known. The further you journey for meaning for the sake of meaning the more you will find mystery. This being one of many droplets of knowledge as to why we live in a body. As the saying somewhat goes, in order to relate, we must first begin to understand ourselves and our most tangible, touchable gateway to that starts within our being bodied.
